Henry Smith (Deep Creek Lures) and Buster Seabolt (Capt. Gary's), both Pro Staffers, have been answering questions from anglers all over the SE. Both of these "legends" are fishing the Pro Chip - with great success. Henry keeps his numbers private, but Buster reported in with a 1st place finish on Shearon Harris (27 lb. bag), and called to tell me he bagged 5 fish weighing in at over 31 pounds. Buster was a skeptic until he traveled to Chickamauga - loaded with a Pro Chip. Buster had arranged for a local "guide" to go out with him to scout the lake. He had already spent a little time checking some nearby road beds while waiting for the guide to show up. First spot he checked produced a 4 pound Smallmouth. He moved a ways down to another roadbed and wham - a 5 pound Largemouth. Buster said he left those fish and went to the ramp to get the guide. After 3 hours with the local guide, no bites, and half of his gas burned, Buster told his guide it was time for him to go so he could go back to scouting waypoints on his Pro Chip. True story!
